Following a 4-year stint as a senior finance officer in the Australian Public Service, Nunzio founded one of Australia’s largest music retail/import/distribution businesses, which he grew very successfully for 18 years. He went on to co-invent and commercialize a radically new wireless microphone technology, which was subsequently sold to an international microphone manufacturer.  During this time Nunzio also co-founded Locata Corporation with David Small. Since Locata’s inception, Nunzio has been responsible for executive management, business operations, commercial partnerships, funding, strategic planning and financial control.

DAVID SMALL, Executive Director

David Small is the inventor of Locata’s core foundational technology. Prior to establishing Locata, David founded and ran a very successful digital broadcast post-production facility in Canberra. His fascination with wireless technology dates back some 27 years and has its roots in amateur radio which he pursued as a hobby while still a teenager. His many years’ experience in television broadcasting manifestly fuelled his continuing passion. David currently holds 123 granted patents, with over 100 more in process.
